It's Monster Jam Time!

Cub Scout Pack 219 will be able to get group tickets for Friday, August 1st at 7p at Thomas & Mack.

We are opening this up to Troop 219!

We plan on getting tickets on PL 7 - Upper Bowl Sides Front. Tickets are $25. Regular Price is $34. A portion of each ticket goes to the Las Vegas Area Council. All scouts will recieve a special patch.

Please use this RSVP to lock in your spot by June 22nd as seats fill up quickly.

Payment will need to be collected prior to receiving your ticket assignment. Payments can be made via zelle at scoutsbsapack800@gmail.com. If you need an alternative form of payment, please reach out to Heather Morehouse at 702-813-3228 for options.

The movie will be The Fantastic Four: First Steps.  

The movie start time is 6:30 and the cost is $6 per person. Plan to arrive at 6 for ticket disbursement and to purchase any snacks you may want.

During Patrol Time, scouts will be able to complete Public Speaking MB requirement 5 - Show you know parliamentary procedure. All scouts should prepare to present an idea for a patrol time activity with their patrol.

Activity: Troop Election Part 2 & Meal Planning for Capitol Reef

Scouts who prepare a speech for Leadership Positions may complete Public Speaking MB Requirement 2 or Requirement 4 as well as Communications Requirement 3.

Public Speaking Requirement 2 - Prepare, practice, and deliver a 3-5 minute talk on a topic that incorporates body language or visual aids

Public Speaking Requirement 4 - Prepare, practice, and deliver an 8-10 minute speech.

Communications Requirement 3 - Write a 5-minute speech and deliver it to the group.

We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our scouts over the past couple of months during summer! We will be showcasing all of our amazing scouts hard work through any rank advancements and Merit Badges and special awards they may have earned.

For the first time in history, Nevada will provide the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, a cherished holiday tradition dating back to 1964. Early in 2025, the U.S. Forest Service announced that this year's tree will be harvested from the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest (HTNF), the largest in the continental United States, spanning 6.3 million acres across Nevada and a small portion of eastern California.
Great Basin Institue, located at the end of Rainbow Ave/Starr has invited us to paint and decorate desert tortoise ornaments that will go on display in Washington DC. This will be a great opportunity to represent our state!
Please use this to RSVP. Exact location will be sent to all who sign up. GPS doesn't seem to take you to the right place. But it is very close to Rainbow/Starr.
We will be painting and decorating. Wear clothes that you can get messy in. If possible pack your troop t-shirt so we can get a picture.
